Magic mushrooms

There are two types of magic mushrooms in the UK, Psilocybe cubensis and Psilocybe semilanceata. The most common one is Psilocybe semilanceata or the liberty cap.
These contain compounds called psilocybin and psilocin which give you a mild trip.
It is important to know that different types of ‘magic mushrooms’ will differ in how strong and how toxic they are.

Psilocybe mushrooms

For example, the amanita muscaria or ‘fly agaric’ magic mushroom is stronger than the traditional Psilocybe Mexicana magic mushrooms. Psilocybe Mexicana make you feel giggly, a bit spaced out and mildly trippy.
A trip lasts for about 4-5 hours and is generally much milder than LSD. Afterwards you may feel a bit flat and you might get an upset stomach.

Your body develops a tolerance to mushrooms very quickly. So if you take them two days in a row, you'll have to take more on the second day to get the same effect. Tolerance wears off in a few days.

Jobs states it was a “positive life changing experience” and that he was “glad he went through that experience”. He took psychedelics when he was alone, and when he took with marijuana, it made him “relaxed and creative”, he stated. He credits getting high to stimulating his creativity.
